The Ogden Theater in Denver is another old multi-use theater that was originally built in 1919 and designed by the same guy who designed The Bluebird. It hosted a variety of performances until it was eventually converted into a movie theater before WWII. The Ogden Theater was renovated to a music venue in 1993.
The Ogden has three different tiers with railings that give an excellent view of the stage. Most shows have no seats, and the standing next to the railings are sought after by early arrivals. There is a bar and sometimes the pit area in front of the stage is roped off for under-age patrons. The Ogden is larger than most of the other theater-type venues in town, but not so large that you feel disengaged from the performance.
